Having felt totally rough for most of the weekend. I dragged myself off to the Dr's this morning . After a lengthy wait (knitting on the baby blanket) I finally saw a Dr who has ordered me home to rest armed with a total of 9 different medications - I never do things by halves!!
My plan is to put on the Pride and Prejudice dvd and spend 6 hours knitting before Matt gets home. Hopefully that will see the end of the baby blanket and I can then think about starting on the edgy exchange.
Posted by Yvonne at May 16, 2005 03:02 PMDear Yvonne,
Speaking as a doctor, the knitting and relaxation is what you want. The medicine may or may not be helpful. Rest up "good and proper",
Linda
Get well soon - put your feet up and knit away....
Posted by: Carol at May 17, 2005 12:15 AMGet well soon, Yvonne, though from the sound of it you must have the dreaded lurgey! Nine different medications? Either you are at death's door or the doctor has shares in the pharmaceutical companies. I rather hope it is the latter.
Six hours of knitting and watching Mr Darcy sounds like my idea of heaven. Whatever you've got send some germs my way please, I could do with a few days off work.
Posted by: Louise at May 16, 2005 11:00 PMOh no! Poor poor you :( Look after yourself and get better soon. Btw, how is the blanket shaping up? Did you go back to the pattern? A.x
