I'm torn - the postman brought 2 packages this morning and I had to decide which one to knit!
The first is the lovely Harris DK, in Thistle. to make Coco thanks for excellent service as always from Get Knitted Remember that I hate knitting rib - well I hate moss stitch even more, so how come I'm already up to the pocket placement on a front? Must be a combination of the antibiotics and watching all the fabulous moss stitch done by Amelia last year - she's brainwashed me into thinking I can do it.
The second was the inspiration for my "Edgy Exchange" a pattern from the Yarn Barn in the USA. The list moms have paired me with a knitter whose work I envy - this is going to push me to do my best. Yes, I've cast on for that as well and done the first 30 rows, I think it will work well. Having read and memorised every word in my recipients blurb I hope I've chosen wisely and that they will enjoy the yarn from my vintage stash.
Posted by Yvonne at May 18, 2005 06:07 PMIt's not that bad - and the results are fantastic. Then again, maybe it's just a case of time lessening the pain! A.x
Posted by: Amelia at May 22, 2005 02:53 PMHope you're starting to feel better. I agree about moss stitch - am currently marooned in the middle of a moss stitch baby blanket, not fun at all!

I love Charms from the Rowan but the thought of all that moss stitch overwhelms me,
