Invitations

First invitation is to any knitter in the London area to come along to the British Museum on Friday 15th July from 5pm to join members of the Knitting and Crochet Guild. We will be in the restaurant until closing time.

I mentioned this on a number of lists and have been very touched by members of the traditional knitting list who have decided to nominate that as a night to knit for peace and will knit along in harmony with London.

Second invitation was from Matt's cousin asking if we would like to meet him in London on Thursday night for a meal - quite a surprise as he lives in California! So I get to go to Liberty's and then out for a meal.

Third invitation was from a knitting pen friend, Lisa, she's an American planning to visit Europe in the next couple of weeks - did I fancy joining her for a day in Paris or Brussels?

Urgent consultation of the diary and the bank balance means that I'm giving myself an early birthday present and meeting her in Paris for the day in 2 weeks time - suggestions of must see sights please?

Lucky you Yvonne to get such great invitations. I can't make it this Friday unfortunately but I too will join in the spirit and knit at home.

Hope all goes well at the British Museum!

love

Sarah
(PS Pretty please can we see some photos soon?)

it all sounds fantastic, and living the life that we have, well, is the most important thing we must and can do.

Ooh! Three good things at once, how marvellous. Enjoy yourself, Yvonne, you deserve it.
