.... needs a lifeline!
One dropped stitch = 10 rows of lace undone aka the loss of 1000 stitches!
Not the bus driver's fault this time but mine!!
Still the Shetland Triangle is progressing nicely, I think my yarn is a finer gauge so I may do a couple of extra pattern rows before starting the edge.
The mad scarf is great fun and has been borrowed and paraded around the office - it's based on the wonderful one made for my birthday by Jacinta but in a totally "in your face pink" - The KCG wanted something bright for the stand at Ally Pally and Silkwood had these great colours....
In the pink

Love the scarf and that colour is perfect!!! I can come out to play in Glasgow (have volunteered my services so am waiting to hear if and when they need me). Ooooh that scarf is classy
Posted by: juliet at October 12, 2005 01:27 AMI love your mad scarf and look forward to seeing it 'in the yarn' at the show. I need to renew my KCG membership anyway so will look out for it then. I bought 'Scarf Style' today on my way home from work. I needed cheering up and there was 20% discount for students at Borders. I HATE Borders but I like discounts and have been thinking about this purchase for ages.

Posted by: Amelia at October 8, 2005 08:29 AMThe mad scarf is gorgeous! DH thinks so, too! :-)
Posted by: Hazel at October 6, 2005 06:39 PMFantastic scarf. I feel ill at the thought of redoing lace. I find it totally confusing to try and fix up mistakes. I can only rip back to the beginning.
Posted by: Linda at October 6, 2005 10:21 AMSorry about that stitch, that must have hurt. The scarf is gorgeous, really pretty and everybody needs a bit of pink sometimes ;)
