I'm very happy with the way this project turned out - eventually! I can't believe I procrastinated over it for so long. The main shawl was a joy to knit with an easily memorised pattern, it was the edging that put me off originally. Well that and the fact I was running out of yarn! The entire shawl cost less to knit than the pattern was to buy thanks to the local thrift shops and yarn show.

And as for the KSH top, I've been wearing a black vest underneath which I think I can just about get away with....

Posted by: Sarah at January 27, 2006 02:16 PMHi Yvonne. Your shawl has come out so well in photo and it looks great in the "flesh" too. I love the edging to it. Just seen your winter star project, that looks very interesting! how is it coming along. Bring it to Libertys next week, it looks very pretty. Hope you aren't feeling to wacked out today after a busy Thursday. Take it easy today. Luv Jan xx
