I took the wrap to Liberty's last night and for once was really happy to show off my knitting, lots of positive comments even from the non-knitters in the cafe and several people enjoyed trying it on - what was amazing was how well it worked on everyone.

The rear shot for my AK friends who wanted to see if this design worked

Sue was the last to try on the wrap and I nearly had a wrestling match trying to get it back.
Yvonne, that is one of the most beautiful pieces of clothing I've seen in ages - and looks great on you. Looks like Liberty purple on my screen!

Posted by: Carol Hurt at March 6, 2006 03:44 PMIt's gorgeous! And, if my friends ever arrive at Liberty's without me again, please could you march over and ask them to join in? Otherwise they'll continue to hide at a different table (they're shy), leaving me wanting to come over and see what everyone else is doing, but feeling that I should also stay put with them, and getting terribly torn in the process....

Posted by: blueadt at March 5, 2006 01:30 PMThat wrap is beautiful - totally stunning. A Question however - if it looks good on everyone are you going to knit them all one or is this going to become a team wrap wearable by all????
P.S How fast can that Sue run - she looks very at home in it...
Posted by: juliet at March 4, 2006 03:24 PMOGM I LOVE it, it is absolutely gorgeous. How many balls of yarn did it use, as I noticed you did not use the Vittadini? It looks absolutely wonderful on you.
