This is the final evidence of how ill I was feeling last weekend - the sum total of my purchases from the KCG !
There were some fantastic yarns, books and patterns I don't own, needles I need, vintage buttons begging to be used and this was all I could remember from my list.
The carefully prepared lists stored on my Palm were wiped out when i managed to press the reset button and my brain was mulch.....
In fact it still is mulch.
I've had no voice for 5 days, still cough and splutter, can't swallow more than liquids and can't face knitting. I have the patterns in front of me, the lace weight yarns, the current projects and I can't even raise the energy to knit a dishcloth.
So to my exchange partners - I'm sorry , I may miss the deadlines but will make good as soon as I find my mojo
Posted by Yvonne at July 14, 2006 10:40 PMwow, that stinks. i hope you feel better soon. i haven't had my mojo either, so don't feel bad. i think i've knit 5 rows in the last 5 days. i have been spinning, though, a little, and crocheting an afghan for sean.
Posted by: minnie at July 18, 2006 03:05 AMit must be very serious if it's curtailed your yarn acquisitions and interfered with knitting! These things tend to take a few weeks to get rid of, here's hoping you'll be better next week!
Posted by: dawn at July 17, 2006 01:27 PMWhat, no yarn? You must have been feeling really poorly ;-) Hope you're on the mend now.
Posted by: Wibbo at July 16, 2006 03:53 PMI envy you those patterns, they are some of the ones on my want list. Sorry to hear about your mojo, I think mine is in the same place as yours and Chris's. There is probably a mass gathering of mojos somewhere.
Your lost voice, coughs and spluttering sounds awful, I hope that you're feeling better soon. I think myself lucky that I've only had to contend with broken toes lately, your virus would lay me flat!

Posted by: Mary-Lou at July 15, 2006 06:34 PMHi Yvonne,
My total sympathy to you! I have had the same damned plague for a week now, and there doesn't seem to be an end to it! Like you, I've done no knitting, not even the laceweight I bought with such enthusiasm at Woolfest. Just a little request.... when you find your mojo, have a look for mine!
Love, Chris
you poor thing - you must be ill if you're not even knitting. Get better soon
