I finished this tank a few weeks ago and it has already become a favourite in the heat of London. As usual my gauge was all over the place and it has loosened with washing but I like the current swishiness of air around the hem.
What i'm concerned about is the amount of dye that comes out each time it is washed.
There's a second finished object in the photo - my necklace, made in my lunch hour today with beads and a leather thong found in my desk drawer - far more interesting than the rest of the clutter in there and the files strewn around as I attempt to crack the quarterly stats once again!
A small group at Liberty's tonight but good to meet up with Nickerjac and Daisychains
Posted by Yvonne at July 27, 2006 11:56 PMGorgeous tank! Is it based on Lotus Blossom? I've been meaning to have a go at that, but I like the top half of yours better.

Posted by: Sue at July 30, 2006 09:42 AMThat is a very nice tank. I love the colour.
Posted by: SP8 at July 29, 2006 07:39 AMThat looks just fabulous (and I love the necklace too), it is just the ticket for this heat, and the orange colour is a good complement for anything purple......
Posted by: juliet at July 28, 2006 08:44 PMThat looks great! I'm surprised it's not purple, though; or is it the exception that proves the rule?
Posted by: Wibbo at July 28, 2006 02:07 PMThat's such a good idea... tanks... I keep knitting myself sweaters which I won't be able to wear for months if this weather is anything to go by... MUST knit something lighter!!
Yours looks great on you. The lace pattern is really pretty!! Is this your design?

Posted by: Annarella at July 28, 2006 10:31 AMYvonne, I love your tank, you look so cool in it. The new beaded necklace looks great too, you are so talented. I really, really want to make myself that top, what yarn do you recommend for the heat?
