Bashful

Saturday afternoon was spent in the company of Two Sue's and Beth, lots of knitting, crochet and drooling over Japanese bag patterns. I'm trying to resist the temptation of heading off to Ebay to buy my own copies.

For some reason Sue turned bashful when I tried to take her photo - can this really be the same person who had her face in two of the knitting magazines this month?

I've finished Pampas, just need to finish blocking it and sew on the frogs and buttons. I ripped back 4 rows of the Swallowtail as I lost track of the Lily of the Valley pattern. I plan to do a test piece in dk cotton this afternoon before I go back to the alpaca

I'm getting ready to post my final SP8 gift and have managed to misplace the item I knitted for my pal - it hasn't turned up in any of the usual places I hide items that need sewing up so she may have to wait for it!

i actually knit a headband for my pal from some handspun i had. 50 % wool, 50% silk. and it actually got there before she did! she moved, and got there yesterday, and according to the post office, it got there monday! she'll be getting the rest of her package after the wedding, i'm too tired to make my brain work hard enough to come up with more stuff than that right now

HA! So THERE you are, my secret pal! Your parcels have put me to shame - I've loved them sooo much and this last one was no exception, I had to start the loopy debbie bliss scarf right away and did two rows in the car at work - got pics on my camera - ooo the excitement! I'll rave on some more when I get round to blogging - have been up so late trying to get an essay done to be handed in tomorrow.
And you actually run the knit and knatters - wonderful - it's a small world.
Talk to you later! >>>
PS waiting for the knitted bit will be an extra treat...
