Elaine Jamieson has agreed to sell me yarn!!!
Now all I have to do is decide......
between the kit for this
or the yarn for this
or both?
Wibbo - you do not have to buy if you click on these links!!!!

Oops sorry about the links!
I bought both - enough yarn to make Willow from Jamieson's Book 2 and Kaleidoscope 2 from Simply Shetland 1
Journey home is a nightmare - a power failure north of York meant nothing was coming through. They tried to tell me to go back through Harrogate to Leeds and then home from there. I decided to stay put and was rewarded with a train about 30 minutes later! I'll miss my connection in London so will look to be arriving home after midnight - think positive though I get some knitting time!
Posted by Yvonne at November 26, 2006 11:38 AMOh, their yarn is wonderful - it is real sweetie shop territory as they have so many colours. I have some out of its storage right now and all I can say is that it is totally addictive as I can see so many projects but only about 20 skeins of different colours in my stash...
Hopefully a better journey next time (I once had a journey from hell between Edinburgh and Newcastle that still gives me the shakes - something to do with a large extended family kippering me into my seat and they were all eating boiled eggs and bananas), the next time I made that journey I was on a bus all to myself (which was brilliant)
i didn't look at the links, but i'm sure they're cool.
must suck to have to depend on public transport that runs on electricity. if we did here, it would be down about every other week. mark's neighborhood has an "aging powergrid" and the power pops about once every other week, blech.
Posted by: minnie at November 27, 2006 02:06 PMI'm not even looking at those links! Now all you need to do is knit them up. Have you Victorian Lace yet? Plenty to keep you occupied!
d:)
Posted by: dawn at November 27, 2006 12:29 PMOh dear! You've sussed me out! Lovely patterns and I do like their yarn, but I will resist.... Sorry about your awful journey but I'm sure you put the time to good use.....
Posted by: Wibbo at November 27, 2006 11:37 AMAnd guess who has the two kits in her car and the pattern books ??
Now how long will it take me to post them, and shall I make them up first ???
Posted by: Sue at November 26, 2006 09:30 PMYes, I get errors when clicking on the links. Most frustrating as I really want to see what has tempted you, Yvonne.
Even without seeing them I say get both, why decide otherwise? Saves you getting a headache trying to make a decision between what must be two lovely things, and you know you deserve them.
Posted by: Louise at November 26, 2006 02:17 PMshowing errors for those two links?
