Another opening...

another show!

This time I'm over at the Excel Centre with the Knitting and Crochet Guild. This is a new show so we have no idea of what to expect and today is a long day - open until 9pm. The show runs until Saturday at 5pm

A quick look around last night after set-up reveals that there will be stalls to tempt me including 2 I've never seen before, Knitwitches and Moral Fibres. My friends Tess and Les are there with the rabbits so there may be some angora buying in my future.

On the knitting front, I didn't finish the Hap shawl so it will now be "performance art", I'm hoping to reach the final edging today and then work on that over the next few days. I'm not sure of the wisdom in working these edgings in the round - it makes for very long rounds and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. Perhaps I'll knit the next one in the traditional manner. I'll hope to have photos as soon as it comes off the needles.
