if you're wondering why I've been quiet it's because I feel YUK! I know I've been putting in too many hours on the day job so decided to give myself a few days rest with my family in Yorkshire.
Before I set off I went to see my Dr and ended up with more medication and a strict lecture, I'm to get my blood pressure down - I hate to think what it would be if I didn't knit as much as I do to help me relax.
I enjoyed my train journey home as I knew I was being met at the station by
who insisted I hurry up with my suitcase and come outside to see this
they had just finished it and turned the water on! Not a great photo but it was raining and I wanted to keep dry! The fountains and water cascade looked spectacular and made an interesting start to my visit.
Lots of other water as it rained non-stop for the entire 3 days I was there but at least I got to teach my eldest niece to finger knit
a phone conversation with my sister today confirmed that she is still at it and has been teaching friends at ballet class!
I'm back in London trying to get my act together and do laundry etc prior to going back to work but feel that a nap might be in order!
Posted by Yvonne at June 24, 2007 03:41 PMNow look here Missus - you take better care of yourself or there will be trouble, we need you in Glasgow when there is the next show and there are other shows and think of all that yarn that needs a healthy Yvonne to rescue it and give it a happy home, not to mention those sweet little neices. Now look after yourself! Biggest squooshy hugs...
Posted by: juliet at June 25, 2007 09:15 PMYou'd have to retire if you want to bring your BP down! Or more knitting. You and me both, teaching the nieces to knit!
Posted by: dawn at June 25, 2007 01:17 PMOh Yvonne do take care of yourself. I'm glad you had a little break but do make sure you don't overdo things now you've returned home. Hugs. Helen
