I finally unearthed the camera so here are some photos to keep you amused.
First up is my present from my Ravelery Summer Camp bunkmate - there was a packet of tea but I've been busy drinking that.
My first gift from SP11 - wonderful timing - I've enjoyed reading these. I've also swatched for a couple of the shawls but am not happy with my yarn choices.
Sarah , my SP9 pal sent this book and there are definitely a couple of items on my "T0 Do" list. I think I may have found a use for some of my Colinette 4ply stash so must needs do some winding and swatching
Here's "Green Gable" finished - if I tell you that it has already become my favourite sweater would you be surprised? I enjoyed knitting it so much I bought a few more of their patterns and already have "Juliet" on the needles
Knitted in Jaeger EFM DK the colour is Cupid - pink / lilac depending on the light
And finally some of the damage I can do to my bank account when left alone in front of a computer when I'm feeling depressed!
The wish list is now even longer, the yarn list for the shows is expanding - anyone know where i can get another set of hands?
More purchases have been made and the postman is being kept busy! I'm just waiting for the arrival of some items and then I can send my next package to my SP11
snap! I have just bought the folk style book (that wrap in there is amazing) and also the shetland book - the autumn rose has a knitalong, some lovely colour combinations are arising... Must look out for the other one though, as I said to you before - Lord knows how non-knitters cope if they can't knit through these times
