Not a week I want to replicate, especially on the family front, apart from the court verdict, one of my sister's fell over and now has a fractured ankle and foot - she's sporting a distinctive green pot with gold sprinkles!
Other events:
One dishwasher - broken
One hard drive (Matt's main computer) - blown up
One coffee maker - no heater element
One microwave - no timer
One holiday - cancelled - we needed the cash to replace the above!
On a more positive note:
John Lewis have most of the items in stock we're just awaiting delivery
Matt found 2 x £20 notes when he tidied his desk
I found the right substitute yarn (with Gerard's assistance) for Linden
My knitting mojo is coming back and I've finished the back in two days
Thank you to everyone who contacted me to offer support, it was much appreciated
Posted by Yvonne at October 5, 2008 09:57 PMIt just isn't fair when so many things go wrong at once! Matt clearly has a magic touch when it comes to desk tidying.
Posted by: rosie at October 6, 2008 07:26 PMSorry to hear things have been grotty lately. I hope this week turns out very differently.
