An afternoon of disasters and despite Matt's best efforts we didn't get to the theatre in time.. they wouldn't let us sneak in and stand at the back so we've come home....nuff said!
Posted by Yvonne at May 23, 2009 09:51 PMHow disappointing for you. They seem to get stricter and stricter in theatres now. Hope the weekend ended on a better note. Hope to see you soon at IKnit. regards
Posted by: Ros at May 25, 2009 09:43 PMOh Yvonne, I'm so sorry. I do hope you have a better end to the weekend.
Posted by: Helen at May 24, 2009 06:09 PMwell if they were waiting for Godot I can't see why they couldn't at least have waited for you as well, humph. Hope you have another little treat lined up to make up for that one not working out
Posted by: juliet at May 24, 2009 02:02 PMoh NO!!! I am sorry... I know you were really looking forward to it.
Posted by: Liz at May 24, 2009 09:01 AMoh no, what a bummer! As Jill says, hope you have another treat planned (or lots of knitting) and at least had a drink whilst you were out?
Posted by: dawn at May 23, 2009 11:40 PMOh dear! How dreadfully disappointing for you both. It's about thirty years since I saw it too - probably the same production? - seem to remember it was done straight through, no interval? Otherwise you could have at least seen half of it.....I hope you can have some other treat planned for the Bank Holiday week-end.
