Making Monday

Last Monday I ripped out my first attempt at the Pembroke Wrap from IK Fall 2011. I was knitting it with Mirasol Ushya yarn (a lovely tubular yarn - bulky but light) and decided that I needed the lace work to be more open . I started again on a 10mm needle and was much happier with the fabric - so happy that I finished it on Tuesday!

This Monday I've been making some slow progress on a sweater for me, photos will follow as soon as there is something interesting to see!

I think I've got my knitting mojo back, the realisation that I've lost weight and that most of my favourite sweaters now hang off me is a powerful motivation to get ready for winter!!

Congrats on the weight loss! I'm working on that issue, also. Haven't told the hubby yet, but my incentive is a trip back to London (and other destinations) once I reach my goal.

Pembroke looks lovely - are those nupps and, if so, are they easier to make with a bulky yarn?
